Tusque
22nd February, 2010I managed to fit in a little time for moving “the fine place…” to its new home this weekend, so if you want to keep up with all that fineness please visit tusque.com. I may tune it a little more, but it is essentially complete and fully functional. I really love the project, and I’ve set up the backend to make maintenance a lot easier, so new content should happen more frequently. Jon might start contributing too.
I also took the opportunity to clean up and simplify this place (josh). You can still get to the old music stuff, but it’s more “put away in a box” for now. I have accepted that I am unable to focus (or obsess I should say) on passions simultaneously. For now it’s all about the web business and related ideas. It needs to be, to get the bills paid.
When the web business is running smoothly and I get a chance to escape from everything, perhaps to a stone hut in the country side of France, the music may be back. I may be 50 by then.
So all that is planned for josh for the near, and semi-near, future is more talk about food, drink, tv and work, i.e. my life.

8th February, 2010It’s a day off, I think. The plan is to clean the house. Is that really a day off?
Hopefully I can wrap that up and get a chance to do some josh posting tonight.
New Year
19th January, 2010Boy, I forgot how many of those things I scheduled over Christmas. There are a couple more before they run out too. I was home alone, you know…
Anyway, now that I’ve successfully frightened off anyone that tuned in to this blog to keep up with my week-to-week with these gratuitous “skin pics” (as Tim B. calls them), I thought I’d mention too late that “The World Is A Fine Place…” and “Just Listen” pieces of this blog will merge and move to their own home. It’s a side project I’m working on whenever I get a spare minute. It will be fun. You’ll see.
So Josh will revert to my plain little cubby hole in the corner of the interwebs, where my family and friends can tune back in without concern for being faced with a naked penis.
I’ll explain the plan more when it’s ready. At the minute we’re flat out. Aarfie has seven, about to be eight this week I think, projects underway simultaneously and Jon has committed to a gallery showing at Rotofugi in April. Crazy busy.
We’re going to force this weekend off, or at least this Sunday off, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to expand on this plan, maybe even implement this plan, and blog a little about goings on.
Happy New Year!
Love,
Tim
Hawthorne Street Fair
20th November, 2009This was ages ago, but I wanted to mention it, because we had such a great day riding our bikes in from Cliff & Sam’s house. We wish we lived in the city. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the plan just yet.
I think this was also the day we were finally convinced that there are good places for eating and drinking to discover in Portland.
